TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please take a moment to read our terms and conditions. By making a booking you acknowledge that you have read our terms and conditions and agree with them. Knowing what is expected and abiding by these rules is vital in any share or private trip. Please help us keep you safe by adhering to these rules and listening to some basic instructions given by the tour Guide.

Prior to undertaking any tours it is important that the person booking the activity and all the participants understand the following terms and conditions.

FISHING AND TIDE POOL SAFARI GENERAL RULES

1. A guide will assist you and ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
2. The Guide has total authority during the tour, any decision made by the Guide overrides any other prior agreement and/or decision.
3. Please, arrive on time to the meeting point that would be sent to you, prior to the activity taking place.
4. If you are late we will wait for you, always that all the participants would be ok with that.  The return would be done according to schedule.
5. The tours totally depend on the tide, weather and sea conditions. The final, starting time and meeting point, would be communicated to you at least 24 hours before the activity takes place. The hours that you see on the website are only a reference.
6. Travel times to and from the fishing grounds or fishing spots are included in the length of the trip.
7. Minimum number of passengers to make a trip are:

Private Tide Pool Safari: Minimum 1 person. Maximum 12 persons

Share group Tide Pool Safari: Minimum 2 Persons. Maximum 10 persons.

Private Rock Fishing: Minimum 1 person. Maximum 5 persons

Share group Rock Fishing: Minimum 2 Persons. Maximum 5 persons.

Private Island Fishing: Minimum 1 person. Maximum 5 persons

Share group Island Fishing: Minimum 2 Persons. Maximum 5 persons.

8. The Guide would share a safety briefing before departure.
9. Rock and Reel (Cristian Pérez Estaban or Marzena Sieczka) will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any items or valuables brought on the trip by customers.
10. If you join any of the fishing activities. Please bring the valid Identification Document that you use for arranging  your fishing licence to make your fishing licence fully validated, in case it is requested by the local authorities.
11. The tours would be taken in English, in case you want to take it in Spanish, English and German, we would recommend double checking with us if a suitable guide is available. 
12. By booking an Island adventure trip, you are confirmed to be able to swim 100 metres non stop. 
13. Because of the nature of the cost line, we could be walking close to cliffs and walking up and down by them. By booking any of our activities, you are confirming to be fit enough and feel comfortable with heights.

RESERVATIONS

1. All reservations must be booked in advance.
2. Rock Fishing and Island fishing should be booked at least 48 hours in advance, so the fishing licences can be arranged on time. Please, double check with us if you want to  arrange a last moment booking.
3. Private booking will only be confirmed by us upon receipt of a 50% deposit payment.
4. Upon reflection of your deposit payment in our bank account, we will email you your Charter Booking Confirmation.
5. You can arrange your payments by bank transfer, cash or paypal. 
6. Should you wish to pay by paypal or SWIFT Transfer, let us know and we will email you our bank/paypal details.
7. All Trip Bookings must be paid for in full before departure.
8. We accept reservations by our website, phone or email.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY

1. We reserve the right to cancel any scheduled activity due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, even at short notice.
2. If we cancel the activity there will be a full refund and the cancellation fee does not apply.
3. It is at the Guide discretion whether the activity will be cancelled, a later departure or earlier return is called for due to any circumstances or weather conditions.
4. All cancellations by customers must be made in writing and occur within a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to the scheduled activity. In this case your deposit payment will be refunded.
5. Your Deposit Payment will not be refunded if you cancel your charter with less than 7 full days notice.
6. No show or cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled charter date will incur a 100% activity Fee payment.
7. In Rock fishing or Island fishing, there will be no refund if no fish are caught.
8. If the weather turns bad unexpectedly and the Guide decides to return to port, a partial refund may be given.

SHARE FISHING TOURS

1. Minimum number of passengers for fishing charters is 2. Maximum number of passengers is 5.
2. A fishing licence would be arranged for every participant over 15 years old. We would contact you to ask you for the details needed so we can arrange the licence for you.
3. We provide quality fishing equipment (fishing rods/reels) for your use. We also provide the bait and guidance. You may bring your own fishing rods/reels and lures if you prefer.
4. We will require reimbursement for any equipment damaged through negligence.
5. You are welcomed to bring bottled water, sodas and snacks to the trip.
6. We cannot guarantee the fish will be biting on a particular day but we will use our best endeavours to get you on the fish and to cater for all levels of angler experience.
7. It is our mission to optimise everyone’s opportunity to catch a fish. We do not guarantee every customer catches a fish. Fishing is a sport of chance and many variables outside our control determine the catch rate.
8. You can keep your catch or do catch and release, always respecting the Country regulations.

CUSTOMER BEHAVIOR AND ALCOHOL

1. It is required that all customers behave in a safe and respectful manner to all staff, other customers and our property.
2. If we find that there has been loss or damage to our equipment due to negligence or unruly behaviour, you will be liable to cover the costs of these repairs or replacement value of the equipment.
3. The Guide reserves the right to cancel a trip and return if unruly or unsafe behavior is displayed. In such an event, no refunds will be made.
4. We require that all the parcticipants behave responsibly at all times.
5. The Guide reserves the right and sole discretion to refuse a participant or participants join the activity, if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such an event, the trip will be cancelled and no refunds will be made.

SAFETY

1. We welcome children of all ages. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Customers must follow the Guide’s instructions during the fulltime that the activity takes place.
3. Our primary concern is for your safety, and you must comply with any instructions from the Guide immediately and without argument. This includes wearing shoes when asked to.

WEBSITE POLICY

1. We may publish any pictures or videos taken on board the charters for web or promotional purposes. Any person who has issue with this should discuss the matter with the Captain or the manager prior to departure.
2. The content of the pages of this website does not form part of any contract and is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
3. This website contains material which is owned by us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
4. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
5. From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
